No accounts or ads. You can play Farflung without signing up.
Your progress stays on your device. Today’s pins, your history and streak, and your settings (sound, whether you’ve seen the tutorial) are saved in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data erases them.
Visitor statistics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Pageview to understand visits, traffic sources and website usage. These services receive information such as page URLs, referrers, browser and device details. Google Analytics also reports approximate location and uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits. We do not send your game answers, pins, history or local settings to these services, and we disable Google signals and advertising personalization in our analytics tag.
Your choices. You can block analytics scripts or cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The game works without analytics. See Google’s privacy policy for information about Google’s data handling.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
Sharing. When you share a result, the text or image is created on your device and goes only where you choose to send it.
